Breeding biology of the Eurasian Rock Pipit Anthus petrosus petrosus in Brittany: breeding dispersal
DESCRIPTION
In Brittany the breeding dispersal of Rock Pipits shows a high site tenacity towards their first or second nesting site in 70% to 80% of individuals and a dispersal of 1 600 m without any preferred direction for the birds performing short dispersal. A few birds can perform longer dispersal of several tens of km or even more.
